It is the public policy of the State of California that physicians and practitioners be encouraged to advocate for medically appropriate health for their patients.

(Business & Professional Code §510 and §2056)

DID YOU KNOW?

For all dates of injury occurring on or after January 1, 2018, emergency treatment services and medical treatment rendered for a body part or condition that is accepted as compensable by the employer and is addressed by the medical treatment utilization schedule adopted pursuant to Section 5307.7, by a member of the medical provider network or health care organization, or by a physician predesignated pursuant to subdivision (d) of Section 4600, within the 30 days following the initial date of injury, shall be authorized without prospective utilization review, except as provided in subdivision (c).

To help healthcare professionals distinguish themselves with mastery of State Workers Compensation utilization review and prompt payment laws, ERN/The National Council of Reimbursement Advocacy has organized a hard-line and practical boot camp to explain how to challenge improper UR denials, untimely reimbursement, and bypass the State’s overextended WCAB process through DWC regulatory complaint filing.

  • No claim on file stall tactics
  • Underpayments & unlawful silent PPO discounts

  • Employer first aid payment failures and timeframes to appeal
  • Independent medical reviews and MORE!
